Is the Temple currently open to the public?
The main Temple structure is under construction. However, the historic ‘Om namah Shivay’ area has been redeveloped and is open for public visitation.
Is there a dress code for visiting the temple?
Yes, modest attire is required. Men should wear shirts and full-length pants. Women should wear sarees, churidars, or long skirts with blouses or tops that cover the shoulders. Check our visit guidelines for more information.
What is the best time of year to visit Shivdham Temple?
The best time to visit is between December and February when the weather is pleasant. The annual Chithirai Festival in April-May is also a wonderful time to witness the temple’s cultural celebrations, though expect larger crowds.
